Getting ready for a new Chapter

On the 18th I finally have insurance. Sadly I know I'll met my deductible fast, but I'm staying positive that this will give me much better care meaning less pain and more movement. My left arm won't extend open all the way. The elbow keeps swelling up taking up to 75% of the arm movement away. Thankfully this doesn't hurt unless try to force my arm to open more, which I do several times a day because I want it to move. I saw a doctor at the clinic about two weeks ago for the arm and he prescribed prednisone. The is a funny thing we mean a prednisone. Small doses once in a while help a great deal, too much and prednisone does more harm then good. For some reason when my body thinks it has had too much of prednisone it will swell up, make me dizzy, and/or cause my heart rate to up. The wonderful Stomach Bug

Going around work is the wonderful stomach bug, it may be the stomach flu but no one has seen the doctor to confirm. My co-workers are so nice and wonderful that I have also picked up this illness. It started on Friday the 25th. I woke up sore and just felt off but I pushed to head towards a podiatrist appointment. I never made it. I pulled over once to be sick and then again a 2nd time. Thankfully my husband was with me and drove us home. I’ll now have to wait a month to get another appointment. My podiatrist appointment is for issues with my feel. I can stand about 45 minutes before my feet start to hurt a lot. Like standing on pins and I have to get off. Since I love to walk, hike, and go to amusement parks this is another obstacle standing in my way. Thankfully I do have a manual wheelchair but my husband health no longer allows him to push me and my arms are unable to do it myself for long. If I try to wheel myself my shoulder will go out. Rough Day, but enjoyable

I'm sore today. My elbow is opening just a little more as I keep exercising it. I need to see a real physical therapist, but I'm waiting to see the Rheumatologist in February. Today we walked around thrift stores. Didn't buy much, but we enjoyed getting out and looking. It was rainy today so it was a great way to get out. Unfortunately, my right hip, send pains part down my right leg as I sit here with my feet up. I'm very concerned at how fast I blow through the detectable this year as I don't really have it all at once. I'm fully suspecting to not only blow right through the detectable but also meet my out of pocket cap in just a few months. Only a month more to go. I have lots of question and promise to not only ask them all, but share the answers as well.
